Welcome to the Connecticut District 4 website. Our District is located in New Haven County of Southern Connecticut and is comprised of 12 leagues.
Please take a look at our League Boundaries Maps for further details. Our objective is to provide leadership, training, and assistance to the local leagues. The local leagues can then provide a positive environment in which the children of the community can grow into productive young adults we can all be proud of while enjoying the game of baseball or softball. |

The 27th Little League International Congress has wrapped up and the results of the rules and regulation changes that were approved by the District Administrators from around the world have been released.

THE MILFORD LITTLE LEAGUE MERGER IS OFFICIAL!!!
The Little League Charter Committee accepted the joint proposal in its entirety.
It became clear over the last few years that this was the right thing to do for Milford youth to enhance their overall Little League experience. Softball in Milford has played as one league. Now baseball will join in the same way under one league.

Milford LL is now ONE Official Little League Organization.
The Little League Charter Committee accepted the joint proposal in its entirety.

Key Points
- Baseball & Softball are under one league called "Milford Little League"
- As Softball already does, all regular season baseball teams will be drawn from the entire pool of Milford Little League players. No more "this side of town, and that side of town".
- Post Season District All-Stars (baseball) will be drawn to make up 2 teams per age division based on the Law/Foran high school lines.
- The heritages of the two merging leagues will be preserved as the 2 District All-Star teams will be called "Milford Lou Gehrig" and "Milford International".
- The league colors are a merge of "Law Gold" and "Foran Blue"

USA Baseball Bat Standards - NEW for 2018
Effective on January 1, 2018, Little League Baseball® will adhere to the new USABat standard. Bats previously approved for use in Little League Play (Junior League Baseball and below) will not be permitted to be used in any Little League game or practice, or other Little League function, event, or activity. For more information on the USABat standard and a complete list of bats approved through the USABat Standard, visit usabat.com.
What this means for local Little Leagues, and Little League baseball players in the Tee Ball through Junior League Divisions, as well as Little League Challenger Division®, is that all previous Little League-approved bats can no longer be used starting in 2018. Be aware that this new bat standard effects Little League Baseball only. There are no changes to the bat standard or regulations for Little League Softball®.
